Who runs this site

Ward Winning Pickleball is Hannah Ward, a pickleball coach in San Diego, California. Questions about this policy go to wardwinningpickleball@gmail.com.

What is collected

• Lesson requests: your name, email, phone number, the lesson you asked for, where and when, and anything you wrote in the notes.
• Accounts: your name, email, phone number, level and a password (stored as a one-way hash, never readable). An account is created for you automatically when you request a lesson so it can be found again; it has no password until you set one.
• Messages: what you send through the contact page, with the address it came from.
• Video reviews: the footage and stills you upload, what you ask Hannah to look at, her notes and response videos, and the messages between you.
• Technical: the web server keeps ordinary access logs (address, page, time) for a short period to keep the site running and detect abuse. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days after your last visit; a visitor who never signs in gets a cookie that expires when the browser closes.

How it is used

To confirm and run your lessons, to deliver video reviews, to reply to your messages, and to send you the emails you would expect: a receipt for a request, a confirmation, a reminder the day before, a password reset if you ask for one. Hannah is notified of new requests and messages by Telegram. If you tick the box asking for news about clinics, you may get an occasional email about those; untick it in your account at any time.

Who sees it

Hannah, and the services the site runs on: the web host, the email relay used to send messages to you, and Telegram for the coach's notifications. None of them is given your data for their own use. Nothing is sold, rented or shared with advertisers, and there is no advertising or social media tracking on this site.

Video footage

Uploaded video is stored on the site's own server outside the public web root and can only be played by you and by Hannah. You can delete individual clips while a review is being prepared, and can ask for a review and all its files to be deleted at any time.

Keeping and deleting

Lesson records are kept as the business's own records of what was taught. Everything else is kept as long as you have an account. Email wardwinningpickleball@gmail.com to see what is held about you, correct it, or have your account and footage removed.

Payments

No card details are taken on this site. Lessons are paid at the court and video reviews by Venmo, so payment information is handled by those services, not here.
