Terms of service
The plain-English agreement for lessons and video reviews with Ward Winning Pickleball. Last updated September 2026.
The short version
- A booking on this site is a request. It is confirmed when Hannah says so, by text or email.
- Move or cancel a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts. Inside that window, or if you do not show up, the lesson fee is due.
- Pay at the lesson by cash, Venmo or card. Nothing is charged online. The price quoted is the price; there are no extra fees except a travel fee for a court well outside San Diego, agreed with you first.
- Video reviews are paid by Venmo when you send the footage, and delivered within the turnaround shown on the plan.
- You play at your own risk and are responsible for being fit to play.
Booking
Requests are made through the site's calendar, by message or by text. A lesson is booked once Hannah confirms it. Times shown on the calendar are in Pacific time. If a confirmed lesson has to be moved by Hannah (weather, injury, a court closure), you will be offered another time or a refund of anything already paid.
Cancellations and no-shows
Cancel or reschedule free up to 24 hours before the lesson, from your account or by text. Cancellations inside 24 hours and no-shows are charged the full lesson fee. Rain: outdoor lessons cancelled by Hannah for weather are never charged.
Payment
Private lessons are $75 an hour and group lessons $40 per player an hour, priced pro rata for longer lessons. Payment is due at the lesson by cash, Venmo or card. Group lessons are paid per player; the person who booked is responsible for the group's total.
Video reviews
A video review is bought by choosing a plan on the site and sending footage. Payment is by Venmo to the handle shown, before the review is delivered. Hannah reviews footage that meets the plan's limits (number of clips and total minutes); footage that cannot be worked with (for example, filmed from too far away to see the ball) will be flagged so you can send something else. Delivery is within the plan's turnaround, counted from the day payment lands. A review is a coaching opinion, not a guarantee of results.
Health and safety
Pickleball is physical exercise. By booking you confirm you are fit to take part and will tell Hannah about injuries or conditions that matter. Ward Winning Pickleball is not liable for injury sustained while playing except where caused by its own negligence.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself and tell Hannah if you think someone else has used your account. Footage you upload must be yours to share, and must not include people who have not agreed to be filmed for coaching.
